The Target Distribution Center will be holding a job fair on March 19 & 20, 2009. They are going to begin the process of hiring almost 600 people. The Distribution Center is located on NC 10 in Newton. They are seeking applicants for the 580 planned positions. Applicants will not be interviewed during the event and there will be no jobs offered those days. Target officials will go over job descriptions, the company profile, and provide an application. Target will review the applications and later contact candidates for interviews. Previously, job seekers were encouraged to complete applications online. However anyone who submitted an online application is encouraged to reapply.

I think this is a great opportunity for job openings. I would love to be considered for employment for the distribution center. I have experience in shipping, recieving, office assistant, customer service, inventory and warehouse. I am available to work the day shift.. I work every day unless sick and I take a flu shot to keep that under control... I work very well with others and very effieciently on my own also. I am so excited about Target opening up a huge distribution center in our little town of Newton. I have already filled out an application on line months ago but will fill out another now. I don't mind working swing shifts....and I don't live too far from the factory so it won't take me long to get back & forth. I work every day and I work hard. Work well with people or alone. I am presently working in a furniture factory and everyone knows how that busy is going. I'm only working 32 hrs and NEED more. I do not like to jump from job to job so if hired, I hope I remain there for Many years to come.
